Our Products
Based on advanced scientific ergonomic research and development at its labs in Los Angeles, California, Human Engineering Technologies is developing breakthrough innovative products that address the debilitating musculoskeletal problems suffered by hotel housekeepers in the line of duty every single day. Our company’s research and development team currently works on three product lines:
The SafeTuck™ Product Line, addressing linen, covers and pillows tucking challenges, including the repetitive lifting of 30-50-pound portions of heavy mattresses (up to 8 times per mattress, for 15-20 mattresses, adding up to over 2 tons lifted per day by each housekeeper); removing soiled pillowcases and stuffing the bulky pillows into clean pillowcases, up to 4 times per bed, for 15-20 beds, adding up to as many as 80 awkward wrist, fingers, shoulders, and head motions per day.
The SafeLift™ Product Line, dedicated to solving the chronic musculoskeletal problems caused by repetitive bending-picking-and-lifting of low-positioned items, such as mats, carpets, soiled towels, trash cans, toiletries and the myriad of loose articles lying on the guest room floors (typically 50-100 times per guest room, for 10-15 guest rooms, adding up to up to as many as1,500 low-bends-picks-and-lifts per day, for each housekeeper).
The SafeClean™ Product Line, addressing the debilitating carpal tunnel and arthritis injuries to wrists, knees, elbows, shoulders, fingers, and backs caused by repetitive bend-press-twist motions performed to push cleaning cloths and sponges, and by vacuum cleaning (as many as 1,000 such motions per day, for each housekeeper).
Using these advanced products can reduce housekeepers’ discomfort, pain, conditions, and permanent injuries, while enhancing their productivity and job satisfaction. Our products create millions of dollars in cost savings for the hotels’ brand licensors, owners, and operators. And, by adopting Human Engineering Technologies’ products, hotels can finally meet all of OSHA’s hotel housekeeping regulations, thus avoiding significant fines, potential shutdowns, and embarrassing publicity.
